Terms & Conditions
The rules of using Wayra. They apply when you plan a trip, join a group, or log a shared expense — please read them.
1. Who and what
Wayra is a free AI-assisted trip planner at wayratrip.io. The service is run by Rodrigo Arenas Paiz, based in Madrid (Spain), contact [email protected].
Using Wayra means you accept these Terms. If you don't agree with any of them, simply don't use the service.
2. What Wayra does
When you describe a trip, Wayra:
- Generates a full plan (day-by-day itinerary, budget, packing list, recommendations) using AI.
- Suggests real hotels and flights pulled from external providers (Amadeus).
- Shows the weather forecast for your dates (Open-Meteo).
- Lets you share the plan with your group via a link.
- Lets you log trip expenses and compute how they split.
3. What Wayra is not
Important:
- Wayra is not a travel agency. We don't sell tickets, book accommodations, or issue invoices for travel services. When you book a hotel or a flight, you do it directly with the provider (Booking.com, Google Hotels, the airline).
- Wayra doesn't guarantee availability or pricing. The data we display comes from external APIs and can fall out of date between the moment you see the plan and the moment you book.
- Wayra doesn't give legal, tax, or medical advice. Content about visas, vaccines, local rules, or travel insurance is informational. For important decisions, consult official sources.
4. Accounts and access
You can use Wayra without creating an account. Anonymous trips stay tied to your browser. If you want them to follow you across devices, sign in with Google or with a magic-link email.
You're responsible for:
- Keeping the security of any account you link to Wayra.
- The accuracy of the data you enter (group names, expense amounts, etc.).
- Anything that happens from your account or session.
5. Acceptable use
You can't use Wayra to:
- Anything illegal or that infringes third-party rights.
- Generate offensive, discriminatory, or hate-inciting content via the planner.
- Scrape the site automatically, reverse-engineer it, or try to overload the service.
- Impersonate someone else or create fake accounts.
- Bypass security measures or usage limits (rate limits, quotas).
If we detect abusive use, we may restrict access or remove the account without prior notice.
6. Intellectual property
The "Wayra" name, the logo, the site design, the source code, and the editorial content (blog articles, destination landings, copy) belong to Rodrigo Arenas Paiz and are protected by Spanish and European intellectual property law.
Plans Wayra generates from your prompt are yours for personal use. You can share them with your group, print them, or export them. You can't resell them as your own product or republish them at scale without attribution.
Destination images come from Pexels under their free license. Attribution is shown where applicable.
7. Affiliate links
Some links to hotels, flights, and activities on Wayra are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a commission from the provider (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, etc.) at no extra cost to you. The price you see is exactly the same you'd see visiting the provider directly.
That commission is what keeps Wayra free. We mark a link clearly when it's an affiliate one.
8. Limitation of liability
Wayra is provided "as is", without express or implied warranties. To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- We're not liable for travel decisions made based on AI-generated information. Always verify critical data (prices, availability, country entry requirements) at official sources before booking.
- We're not liable for the quality, availability, or policies of external providers we link to.
- We're not liable for temporary service interruptions, data loss caused by external provider failures, or network outages.
- Our maximum liability to a user, in any circumstance, is limited to the amount that user has paid in the previous 12 months. Since Wayra is free, that amount is zero euros.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights granted to you by law as a consumer in the EU/EEA, including the non-waivable consumer protections under the law of your residence.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms. If we do, we'll publish the new version at this URL with the date at the top updated. If changes are material, we'll notify you on-site or by email before they take effect.
You can stop using Wayra whenever you want. If you have an account, you can request its deletion at [email protected].
We may suspend or close your access if you breach these Terms. In serious cases, without prior notice.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Madrid, except where mandatory law imposes another forum (e.g. the consumer's residence in B2C relationships).
If you're a consumer resident in the EU, you can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
