Cookies Policy

Which cookies we use, what they do, and how to control them. You can change your choice anytime from the button below.

Last updated: May 1, 2026

1. What's a cookie

A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser to remember things between visits — your session, your preferences, or, if you consent, data to measure how the site is used. Wayra also uses similar mechanisms (browser local storage) and treats them the same as cookies in this policy.

2. Your current choice

The first time you visit, Wayra shows a banner so you can choose what cookies to accept. Your choice is stored for 12 months. You can change it anytime:

If you reject optional cookies, Wayra still works normally. It only affects analytics, not the service.

3. Categories we use

Essential — always on

Without these the site doesn't work. They keep your session, prevent CSRF attacks, and remember your cookie choice.

Analytics — only with your consent

Help us understand how Wayra is used, which pages land, and where people get stuck. IP addresses are anonymized before processing.

Marketing — only with your consent

Reserved for measuring ad campaigns and affiliate links. Wayra doesn't run paid campaigns today, so this category is empty. When we start Brand Defense campaigns on Google Ads (planned for September 2026), measurement cookies will appear here and this policy will be updated.

4. Third-party cookies and Consent Mode

Wayra implements Google Consent Mode v2: until you accept the corresponding category, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager load in "denied" mode and don't send personal identifiers. Microsoft Clarity simply doesn't load until you accept analytics.

When you give consent, providers process the data under their own policies:

  • Google's Privacy Policy
  • Microsoft's Privacy Policy

5. Managing cookies from your browser

On top of the Wayra banner, you can block or delete cookies directly from your browser:

  • Chrome
  • Safari (Mac)
  • Safari (iOS)
  • Firefox
  • Edge

Blocking all cookies can break parts of the site (you won't be able to sign in, for example).

6. Changes to this policy

If we add new tools that use cookies, we'll update this page and, if the category is optional, ask for your consent again. The "last updated" date is at the top.

7. Contact

This policy is maintained by Rodrigo Arenas Paiz, operator of Wayra (Madrid, Spain). For any cookies or privacy question: [email protected]. More on how we handle your data in the Privacy Policy.
